Summer may be coming to an end so you need to start planning a nice autumn break. There are vacancies in October and November and the prices are cheaper from the end of September. If you want a specific break that doesn’t appear to be available on the web site please give me a call. We are very flexible about number of days stay and also the days you can book in and book out. 5% discount for returning guests make it even more attractive.
As winter seems determined to creep into Spring it seems appropriate to have a post Easter offer. Mid April is a lovely time to start to blow away the cobwebs. What better place to be than a brisk walk or leisurely stroll in the Peak District. The weather will be warmer, can’t be any colder than it is at the moment, the lambs will be out jumping around he fields and the flowers will be blooming. Why not treat yourself to a few days away or even a week. Prices reduced for Tom’s Barn mid April to the beginning of May and Douglas’s mid April to the end of May.
Douglas’s Barn is available for last minute bookings between 2 and 23 March 2018. Why not treat yourself to an early Spring Break in the lovely Peak District. The nights are getting lighter and after the promise of snow this week I am sure spring and the daffodils will be waiting to burst through. Minimum stay is 2 nights and any dates can be considered. Price for 3 nights £345, 2 nights £245.

Due to a late cancellation Douglas’s Barn has become available from 23 to 30 October 2017. Full week, Monday to Monday or part week Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday. Late deal rates, 7 day break £495, 3 night weekend, Friday to Monday or 4 day Monday to Friday break £345.
Why not treat yourself to a few days away in the Peak District in Douglas’s or Tom’s Barns. The prices have been reduced from 17 November to 7 December 2016. The days may be shorter but it is great to get out for a few hours for a walk or drive in the lovely countryside. The leaves may be off the trees but the views at this time of year are brilliant and if you are lucky you may catch a light frost that makes everything look magical. Breaks are available in Douglas’s Barn at a 10% discounted rate between 1 May 2017 and 26 May 2017. A 3 day weekend break or 4 day mid week break is on offer for £410 and a 7 day beak at £625. Why not treat yourself for a few days away in the beautiful Peak District. Lots of walks or cycle routes, we can even lend you a bike. If you want more relaxed break there are plenty of interesting Derbyshire towns and villages to visit or wander around some the historic attractions such as Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall. There are lots of scrumptious cafes, tea shops and pubs so no need to cook!
Spring may not quite be here but it is a great time to for a visit to the Peak District. The weather has been quite mild here and although we have had some mixed weather, guests are still enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The evenings are getting longer and the countryside is starting to take on its springtime appearance. Douglas’s Barn is very warm and cosy and just the place for a quiet get away. The prices are being held at January rates until the 24 March so why not treat yourself to a few days away.
We got married at Parwich Church on 16 September 2016 at 12noon so now are Mr and Mrs Roebuck. We had our reception at Tissington Hall followed on the Saturday with a Garden Party at Orchard Farm. Great celebrations lasted for 3 days. Here are a couple of photos
