New managing agents

I have had the pleasure of managing Tom and Douglas Barns for 10 Years and felt it was time to enjoy a bit more of my retirement. The barns will continue to be holiday cottages and will be maintained to the standard that all previous guests have enjoyed. The only change is that Sykes Cottages will be managing the bookings for me and Royal clean will be servicing them.

Seasonal Discounts

Election blues why not book a nice few days away in the beautiful Peak District!. Seasonal discounts are on offer for June and July. The nights are long which means you can spend more time enjoying the lovely countryside. Lots of pubs and places to eat with great offers on at this time of year. What’s not to like.

The weather has been so wet but our barns offer a cosy retreat in beautiful countryside. Why not pack a bag for a few days and have a break . We have extended our spring prices until mid June and reduced our summer prices. It would be lovely to see you for a few days or why not a week. Don’t worry about the weather there is plenty to see and do and a lovely pub just down the road serving lovely food. What are you waiting for?

Time to plan you autumn visit

Summer may be coming to an end so you need to start planning a nice autumn break. There are vacancies in October and November and the prices are cheaper from the end of September. If you want a specific break that doesn’t appear to be available on the web site please give me a call. We are very flexible about number of days stay and also the days you can book in and book out. 5% discount for returning guests make it even more attractive.

Winter Prices extended

As winter seems determined to creep into Spring it seems appropriate to have a post Easter offer. Mid April is a lovely time to start to blow away the cobwebs. What better place to be than a brisk walk or leisurely stroll in the Peak District. The weather will be warmer, can’t be any colder than it is at the moment, the lambs will be out jumping around he fields and the flowers will be blooming. Why not treat yourself to a few days away or even a week. Prices reduced for Tom’s Barn mid April to the beginning of May and Douglas’s mid April to the end of May.

Special Offers on Douglas’s Barn for March 2018

Douglas’s Barn is available for last minute bookings between 2 and 23 March 2018. Why not treat yourself to an early Spring Break in the lovely Peak District. The nights are getting lighter and after the promise of snow this week I am sure spring and the daffodils will be waiting to burst through. Minimum stay is 2 nights and any dates can be considered. Price for 3 nights £345, 2 nights £245.

Due to a late cancellation Douglas’s Barn has become available from 23 to 30 October 2017. Full week, Monday to Monday or part week Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday. Late deal rates, 7 day break £495, 3 night weekend, Friday to Monday or 4 day Monday to Friday break £345.

Why not treat yourself to a few days away in the Peak District in Douglas’s or Tom’s Barns. The prices have been reduced from 17 November to 7 December 2016. The days may be shorter but it is great to get out for a few hours for a walk or drive in the lovely countryside. The leaves may be off the trees but the views at this time of year are brilliant and if you are lucky you may catch a light frost that makes everything look magical.
