Your Photos
Talking of photos, for a quick and possibly nostalgic trip round Parwich see parwich.org where a local visitor has posted a series of lovely snaps of the village, taken apparently in August. (Where is the 2009 summer heatwave we were all promised? It all seemed to go wrong when we decided to buy a fan to keep our Douglas's Barn guests cool.)
We'll keep the photo of Merlin at the (dog-friendly) door of Tom's Barn until somebody else sends us a photo of their dog. We've been sent another of Boots but as she figures so largely throughout the pages we thought we'll keep it back for a while; meanwhile, thank you Karen and Keith for the other two of the views you woke up each morning. (Pity about the tatty wheelbarrow!
Down the side we have a picture of the lovely local Parwich Orchid, taken by John on Parwich Hill at the end of May. We also have a couple of flowers in the garden and a fun one of Boots looking as if she has enjoyed perhaps more than a beer or two, sent by Andy and Sandra. Boots joined them on their nightly barbecues and we meanwhile worried that she apparently had gone off her food...
Do send us any pictures you think others might enjoy. If you're not sure about things don't worry - John will try to edit them - perhaps the only thing to say is it would help if you sent them as jpegs.
