We could well be talking about our human guests but actually now it is dogs we have in mind. We do get some really beautiful dogs, and most of them not only lovely to look at but very well behaved and with manners to match. It makes it a real pleasure welcoming dogs, which only occasionally wears a bit thin and only once was a complete disaster but we try not to think of that.
Anyway, rather late in the day, we have started whenever possible taking a photo or asking the owners if they can send one. I’m not quite sure how many photos one can show in one post, so maybe this will have to be a series of short posts with a few dogs at a time… and of course, you can go to the gallery in the blog which at the moment has as many of Boots as visiting dogs, but we intend to rectify this in the future.
Meanwhiole, for a start, here are – Millie and Tess, Bronte, Poppy and Sid! I fear I have much to learn about layout and design but whatever I hope may be the outcome when I insert the photos WordPress seems to have an idea of its own. Anyway, for the time being this will have to do. (But the dogs are beautiful, anyway.)
Douglas’s Barn is available to book for short breaks 3 or 4 nights between 2 and 20 May 2016. Bookings usually start on a Monday or a Friday but if you want a break that starts on a different day get in touch. We are very flexible with bookings.
There are some new attractions added to the list of treats available with the Premier Cottages special privileges card. Amongst them are Renishaw Hall, Thornbridge Hall Gardens (new discounts), Hassop Station Cafe, Village Green Cafe Eyam, Carsington Water Sports and Leisure, Hartington Cheese Shop.
There are still a few free dates at the end of March/April in both Tom’s and Douglas’s Barns. Short breaks, 3 or 4 nights, which are not normally available are on offer. Please look at availability and give me a call or book on line.
